Gerald Ding

Gerald was born in Canada, and he grew up as a fat kid listening to Public Enemy and watching Akira on VHS. His appetite for storytelling grew into directing commercials for brands like Apple, Airbnb, Coca-Cola, and AT&T. Gerald’s work resonates with his excitement for celebrating authentic characters and the truth in their stories; often mashing up visual techniques and styles into both live-action and animation as another storytelling element. Fayettenam is his first short film, and he is a new dad, so his jokes are amazing.
