Paola Malo

Born and raised in Mexico City, Paola moved to New York over a decade ago, thinking it would be temporary…until Brooklyn made it permanent. Originally an actor, she found her way into production during college, producing independent films and discovering she had a knack for the joyful chaos of post.

Her favorite pastimes include walking the city with her camera (allowing plenty of detours for breweries and wine bars) and cooking up a storm with zero interest in measuring cups — a culinary lineage she proudly inherited from generations of Mexican women who measure with their heart. Whether you want to talk Formula 1 (she’s a Carlos Sainz fan and loyal Ferrari apologist), film, or her next script, Paola is always down for a good time — especially if there's food involved or a backgammon board on the table.
