Production Coordinator / Los Angeles & New York

Scholar is looking for a Production Coordinator in our Los Angeles studio to support our production team in new business and the ongoing execution of projects. The Production Coordinator is an essential member of the team who keeps the day-to-day aspects of pitches running smoothly and offers support to the Managing Director, Managing Executive Producer, Executive Producers and Project Leads. 


Job Duties

  • Attend and take notes in project briefing meetings with clients 
  • Work with EPs, Project Leads and Resourcing to build and kick-off pitch teams
  • Setup, attend, and take notes in dailies with the internal team
  • Receive and organize treatment assets on Frame iO and production server 
  • Work with Project Leads on outlining and writing  treatments
  • Send nightly emails with dailies and pitch progress from team 
  • Maintain departmental documents including predictions and calendars
  • Track and approve artist time and invoices  
  • Work with EPs and Marketing Director to keep client contacts up to date 
  • Maintain an active role in the Production team and the Scholar team as a whole
  • Build and expand understanding of different types of project workflows to better help the team 
  • Gain experience in various areas of production through hands-on experience

- Impeccable attention to detail in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment

- Familiarity with various creative mediums and art styles is a huge benefit


Technical Skills

- Comfortable with Google Slides, Google Sheets & Google Documents

- Experience with Frame iO is a plus

- Experience with CETA or other cost tracking software is a plus
