Apple
'College, Sorted'
Every college student is unique, from what they wear to how they decorate their dorm to the devices they need for class. This year’s Apple's back-to-school campaign leans into that individuality, helping students get sorted with exactly what they need to start the school year right.
We helped bring to life six individual move-in ready students, each built around their own personality, props, and curated Apple products. Fueled by Gen Z aesthetics and self expression, the visual style combines punk inspired halftone, cut edges and poppy stop motion animation that is tactile and fun. A perfect compliment to the elevated, college-ready devices at the core.

"We wanted to find the sweet spot between a hand made, stop motion charm and Apple's iconic clean aesthetic. Filming our students and props then dropping frames gave us the best of both - punchy lighting and subtle texture, while giving us the flexibility to hand pick the best expressions for every frame."
Gen Z speaks their own language. From the rock music track to the junk journal inspired tactile style, every wardrobe piece and prop was hand picked to speak directly to incoming college students.
Knowing the students would appear larger than life, we leaned into an ambient animation, accounting for every pixel and approaching every frame with editorial care.
