ExtraMile
'2025 Brand Campaign'
Does anything go better together than an afternoon T-ball game and some much-needed caffeine, or a BBQ and ExtraMan? Not in our book! To kick off ExtraMile’s summer season, we brought ExtraMan back in style alongside hot dogs, palm trees, and a whole lot of backup snacks. From the steamy hero shot of a MILE ONE Coffee and the sizzle of the grill to the gleam of the snack aisle, we set out to create a full-on summer sensory experience to bring ExtraMile’s delicious universe to life.

T-BALL MAYHEM
At the heart of this film was building the tension of the almost-sip. That one perfect moment where Jose is just inches away from finally tasting his coffee. We focused on lighting and composition to heighten that anticipation, framing the chaos around him like a Renaissance painting, carefully composed, full of movement, and loaded with drama. Making the ordinary, everyday moment feel epic.

Slow motion was key. It wasn’t just for style; it was about giving every kid their moment. Composed Chaos. You really feel the girl’s dreamy cartwheel, her braids floating like they’re in zero gravity. You see the dirt kick up behind the kid diving, that dramatic puff of impact dust. Every movement made to feel unexpected, larger than life, and unapologetically ExtraMan.

BBQ GONE WRONG
This film danced between rhythm and reveal. Cutting between the confident calm of Tina to the charred chaos of Gus at the grill, all while building a world that feels vibrant, warm, and cheekily familiar. We had the chance to help shape that world through lighting, design, and visual storytelling, highlighting the golden glow of a summer afternoon and the little cinematic details that make the whole thing feel real.

For this one, we really wanted the lighting to feel like we grabbed a camera, stepped into a real summer afternoon, and just started rolling. Instead of leaning into overly stylized CG lighting, we took cues straight from live-action cinematography and those little atmospheric details you only get when the sun’s doing half the work.
