LIAM ELIAS
Liam Elias has always been a bit obsessed with making worlds, probably because the real one was never quite enough. Born in Havana, he spent most of his childhood dreaming about the outside world beyond that small little island. Movies became a window into worlds that felt impossibly big, and before long, he started imagining a few of his own. That curiosity eventually found its way into a love of film, design, and the tiny details that make imaginary places feel strangely real.
His work blends cinematic storytelling with a deep technical craft, moving comfortably between writing, design, animation, CG, and live action. But the tools have never been the point. Liam is most interested in feeling, finding the little spark of humanity inside an idea and building an entire world around it.
At Scholar, he brings that curiosity to stories both big and small, chasing beautiful images and memorable characters for Apple, Chevron, Target, Kellogg’s, and others. Though that curiosity sometimes leads to the occasional completely unnecessary detail that nobody asked for, but somehow makes everything better
