Liam Elias

Liam grew up in Havana, Cuba, before calling New York his home. He draws inspiration from colonial architecture and flamboyant Cuban art styles in his bold design choices and color schemes. As a young boy, he longed to see the world beyond the island’s shores; that sense of wonder and curiosity transformed into a passion for telling stories and building worlds that feel wondrous and sincere. He was afforded the chance to live his dream when he received a scholarship to work on his BFA in Graphic Design at Michael Graves College, becoming the first Latinx to receive the honor.

Now at Scholar, he still loves to craft character-driven stories that put emotion and honesty first. It’s in these vibrantly authentic moments that he is able to connect with audiences through the screen. Liam was a semifinalist for Walt Disney Imaginations and has been recognized by The One Club. He most recently earned a Telly Award for his work on the Kohler campaign, “Make a Lasting Expression.”
